Our studio offers professional firing service for those who create pottery at home or use clay in their artistic work.

Kiln size is L: 46cm, D: 46cm , H: 50cm.

You can rent the entire kiln to fire your pieces or pay per piece if you don't have enough for one full load.
Since different clay bodies require different firing temperatures, it is crucial that you inform us of the clay and glazes you are using to ensure compatibility with the studio firing schedule.
If you wish do your own firing settings (different from the studio), you can book the entire kiln and program it to suit your needs.

Your pieces must be completely dry to avoid the risk of explosions. The surfaces that touch the kiln shelves should be free of glaze. If there is any glaze that tend to run, please add a note specifying so we will be extra careful adding a cookie underneath.

Please be aware that we are not responsible for any unexpected or unsatisfactory results, such as cracks, explosions, melting, bubbling, warping, or discolorations.

If any damage occurs to the kiln or its components, such as shelves, kiln furniture, soft bricks, the controller, or heating elements, you will be required to cover the repair costs.

All firing fees must be paid upfront. Once your work has been fired, we will notify you via email to arrange for collection.

Please note that firing costs include not only electricity but also labor for loading and unloading the kiln, logistical work, maintenance, and spare parts.
