Kurinuki

"Kurinuki" refers to the Japanese technique of the same name, which involves carving out a solid block of clay to create vessels.
This piece was created during the High Desert Test Sites residency at A-Z West as part of exploring concepts related to homeland, belonging, minimal, sustainable ways of living, along with the functional practices surrounding us.
